Like most people, I was trying a Free Reverse Cell Phone Lookup online. There were a bunch of websites that promised free cell number reverse lookups. But none of them gave me the actual owner of the cellular phone. They only gave me information that I already knew for free, such as:

1. The issuing location of the number (e.g. Malibu, CA; Chicago, IL)

This was also a 'free' website. The only difference was that in exchange for the telephone number that I wanted to search, they ask for mine (mobile number). How's that? Do you think it's worth risking your cellular number to save a few dollars on a reverse cell phone number lookup? Besides, after you give them your number, what if they say "Sorry! that number is not in our database"?
Remember, your cellular number may be linked with so much of your personal information and if it gets in the hands of the wrong person, you might be inviting trouble.
My Research - I sat down and did hours of research to find a solution

1. Wireless numbers are deliberately 'unlisted' from public telephone directories
2. In contrast to land phone information considered public domain, cell numbers are highly confidential information
3. The only way to comply with these laws protecting mobile phone user's privacy is to 'unlist' them from public databases
4. It is definitely effective. That's why you're now struggling to do a reverse phone lookup. It is also why telemarketers don't call on your mobile phone
5. However, these numbers are stored for use in emergency situations and different companies maintain databases that consist of millions of mobile numbers
6. Since a National Cellular Phone Directory was never built, these companies only have about 90% of the mobile numbers in the USA

None of these well trusted companies ask for your personal information in exchange for the reverse phone lookup you want and bigger the company the more reasonable their rates are.
